Post Haste

Post Haste is a collection of letters, tips and insights gathered for instructional use for the novice letter writer. In designing Post Haste, I was inspired by the cover of the 1975 edition of Emily Post’s Blue Book of Social Usage, crammed full of type and a note to the reader. Each chapter of Post Haste is based on a specific kind of letter, and includes a pocket with a famous letter from history as a guide. Within, you can find Annie Oakley’s missive to President McKinley which serves as an example of a letter of encouragement, while Kurt Vonnegut’s letter to Mr. McCarthy demonstrates a letter of protest.

Alongside Post Haste is custom stationery to jumpstart your letter writing career.
