Q: How much does it cost?
Cost depends on many factors including usage, size, complexity and timeline. If you’re interested in a single one-off image for personal use, the starting price starts at $500.
Q: I have an idea for a picture book that I’d like to self-publish/pitch to a publisher/fund with a kickstarter. Will you illustrate my book?
I generally do not accept self-publishing commissions for picture books. If you have a clear pitch, project plan, timeline and budget then feel free to fill out my contact form. If you are hoping to get the book picked up by a publisher, it is best that you submit a manuscript and allow the publishing house to select an illustrator for you.
